What the plugin adds

The plugin starts with three areas: extending a team, setting up Claude responsibly with organizational context and policies, and fundraising. Anthropic says Claude works best with an organization's context and clear rules for use. Staff can ask whether a task fits the organization's AI policy. (Anthropic)

AreaExamples in Anthropic's announcement
Team operationsPlan a campaign sized to the team's bandwidth, draft in the organization's voice, create job posts and interview guides, and prepare board outreach and orientation materials
Organizational setupMap where records and policies live; answer staff questions using the organization's AI policy
FundraisingResearch donors, foundations, and companies; surface open grants with sources cited; prepare proposal drafts from internal material; produce grant reports with cited figures

Anthropic says Claude can map where an organization keeps donor data, grant files, finances, and policies. With Memory on, Claude saves that map for each user, and the other plugin skills read it first to find relevant records. Claude then offers to connect tools it cannot reach yet. (Anthropic)

Anthropic's fundraising examples include donor research, open grants with cited sources, proposal drafts from the nonprofit's own material, and grant reports with cited figures. The company also lists a brief before a funder call, a write-up and thank-you note afterward, and donor updates in the nonprofit's voice. (Anthropic)

Access and administration

Anthropic says the plugin is installed automatically for nonprofits on Team and Enterprise plans, at no additional cost. Administrators manage who has access and which connectors the organization can use. (Anthropic)

Anthropic also says it does not train its models on customer data by default. IT teams can find the company's security and compliance documentation in the Anthropic Trust Center. (Anthropic)
